Teton Village Real Estate Market in Jackson Hole Wyoming
This Teton Village market until recent years pertained mainly to the area southwest of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's Aerial Tramway.
About 120 residential lots were originally platted with the ski resort's inception in 1965. Since then, most of these lots have been improved with older slope-side homes that have a sense of privacy at the base of our awesome mountain ski resort area.
Below the original home sites platted in the Jackson Hole Ski Corporation filings, several Jackson Hole Condominium projects were built in the late 70's and early 80's. These popular condominium rentals are among the hottest markets in recent years.

There are also several new full service Hotel Condominium Resorts, town homes and cabins now being introduced to the Teton Village inventory, including the Moose Creek Condominiums, Granite Ridge Townhomes, the Cody House Condominiums and the Teton Club Resort - which have provided much new inventory close to the slopes for both full and part-time residents desiring to be in this popular region of Jackson Hole Wyoming.
The two most recent additions to our market and the hottest sellers in 2004 was the Four Seasons Resort Hotel and the Teton Mountain Lodge, which combined sold more than 22 million in full and fractional ownerships to make for a record sales year in 2004 and the first quarter of 2005. The introduction of the Crystal Springs Lodges and recent upgrades at the Snake River Lodge and Spa have also fueled the selling inventory to new record highs in the past 2 years.
At present the SRA is the hot news and is at the County Commission level to approve more than 500 acres into a golf course, home sites, condominiums and affordable housing. This massive project is at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain resort and adjacent to the existing Village developments. Some form of this development will pass and Teton Village will be twice as large as it presently is.
